Our Story, Our Purpose, Our Impact
Jiddari Youth Forum (JYF) was founded in 2023 as a bold response to the escalating challenges threatening the future of young people in our community. Born out of urgent necessity, our forum emerged when Jiddari faced unprecedented crises: soaring youth crime rates, rampant drug abuse, widespread school dropout, rising immorality, and a generation of orphans left vulnerable and exploited.
What began as a concerned conversation among community members transformed into a movement of change-makers. Our founders—a diverse coalition of engineers, doctors, lawyers, civilian joint task force members, and community leaders—united with one conviction: that Jiddari's youth deserve better, and together, we can build that future.
We are more than an organization; we are a community-driven force committed to reclaiming the potential of our youth and restoring hope to Jiddari. Through data-driven interventions, grassroots mobilization, and unwavering dedication, we are tackling the root causes of poverty, insecurity, and social decay that have held our community back for too long.

Our Guiding Principles

To transform Jiddari into a model community by empowering youth through education, skills development, and livelihood support; protecting vulnerable children from exploitation; promoting peace and moral values; and creating evidence-based solutions that address the root causes of poverty, crime, and social decay.
Core Areas of Focus
To equip young people with marketable skills, job placement support, and entrepreneurship training that enables economic independence and breaks the cycle of poverty in our communities.
To ensure every young person has access to quality education by removing barriers, providing learning support, and creating pathways for both formal and vocational education opportunities.
To provide comprehensive support for orphans and vulnerable children through direct assistance programs, educational sponsorship, psychosocial support, and advocacy for their rights, ensuring no child is left behind or vulnerable to exploitation.
To foster peaceful coexistence, prevent youth involvement in violence and crime, and create safe spaces where young people can thrive as positive change agents in our communities.
To amplify youth voices in community decision-making, promote democratic participation, and ensure young people's needs and aspirations are represented in local governance and development planning.
To systematically document the conditions, needs, and challenges facing youth and vulnerable populations, creating evidence-based insights that guide our programs, attract partnerships, and inform community development strategies.
Making Real Impact in Our Community
